Eastin Hotel Penang celebrated its 7th annual staff party with a masquerade party theme recently which saw their employees dressed in their finest to celebrate the special occasion.

Newly-appointed general manager Justin Chew, in his opening address, urged employees to keep up their good work and look ahead to the coming new year.
“Tonight is for you to play hard but work harder to achieve our goals next year,” he reminded his staff.
He later introduced the hotel departmental heads who later shared their experiences working in the hotel and offered everyone a toast.
This was followed by the opening gimmick performance followed by a buffet dinner.
Awards were also presented to outstanding staff who have served the hotel and those who have worked without taking any medical leave.

Among them were Mohd Haris Md Hassan, Izahar Idros, Zaini Mohd Salleh, S. Selvashan, S. Thiyagarajoo, Normazura Zainul Abdul Malik, Haris Malik Abdullah  and Zaidi Hashim,
Five-year service award recipients were Mohd Haffizan Abdul Wahab, Zuraida Zainal Abidin, Zalina Mohd Yusof, Suhada Rozali, Abdul Shukor Shah Maksut Ossain Shah, Emily Anak Mugay, Kevin Christie Menon, Murni Idris, S. Selvashan and Loo Chin Henn.
Best employees for 2016 were Azrafamieza Ali from the Maintenance Department and B. Paarrthebhan from the Food and Beverage Department respectively.

Highlight of the night was the inter departmental talent competition followed by individual / group talent contest.
The stiff contest saw the eventual winners emerging from the Housekeeping Department to out-perform their rivals.
The night concluded with staff taking to the dance floor moving to their favourite hit numbers.
