Festive hues light up E&O’s Heritage Lobby
The season of giving has officially begun with Eastern & Oriental Hotel lighting their six-metre Christmas tree at its Heritage Lobby attended by 500 guests on December 1st, 2016.
E & O group hospitality and lifestyle director Michael Saxon says the annual tradition of lighting up the Christmas tree has been a customary practice since 2003.
“It has always been a great honour and pleasure for us to celebrate the spirit of Christmas in the company of our guests and business partners.
“This is also the season to be grateful and I would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all our guests and business partners for their loyal support,” he says.
Guests who attended the event including expatriates, in-house hotel guests, corporate clients and government representatives added so many colours to the festive season.
The Christmas tree took more than 18 hours to be decorated with over 5000 twinkling fairy lights, candy canes and shiny bells in brilliants festive hues of red and gold.
Attendees to the Christmas tree lighting ceremony was welcomed with cocktails and canapés and children were very thrilled to receive the season goodies from Santa Claus himself.
