Media has a fear-factor thrilling time

Fear factor themed games like carrying a 10kg albino python and putting your hands in a container full of worms are among the highlights at the G Hotel’s media appreciation night held here recently.

For the squeamish, they opted to eat a plate full of hot chillies or fruits though.

Sporting participants were rewarded with premium hotel stay and meal vouchers at the G Hotel Gurney and its sister property G Hotel Kelawei.

In all, some 100 members from the media fraternity consisting of print, electronic and bloggers enjoyed a sumptuous buffet dinner earlier accompanied by fine wine choices and juices.

“We greatly value your efforts to raise awareness on the various promotions of our hotel and the various corporate social responsibility obligations that both our hotels carried out.

“But tonight is also time for all of you to unwind and get to know each other better and have a good time,” says hotel general manager Michael Hanratty.

In the meantime, the hotel’s marketing and communications team led by its director Christina Tan were seen busy running the various programmes and fun activities for guests.

Other highlights were the beer drinking competition with a twist by using two straws and other party games.
