Saturday Night Fever at the Royal Langkawi Yacht Club
THE BEE GEES TRIBUTE concert took place at the Royal Langkawi Yacht Club on 16th December 2017 and it was a great show and concert and the crowd who came to this concert did not regret it for a moment.
The Bee Gees Tribute band was flown in from the UK. It is not a common thing to have musicians who fill famous rock stadiums and theatres around the world perform on a Langkawi stage. The Royal Langkawi Yacht Club made it possible and brought the Islanders and visiting Tourist the Music Event of the Year.
Guests could not really keep calm when memories of the crazy seventies were performed on stage and the whole crowd caught the Saturday Night Fever and was at the dance floor during the concert and at the after party.
With spinning glitter disco balls and a laser show and vocals of the Worlds No 1 Bee Gees Tribute band resembling those of Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb guest had a hard time to tell the difference from the original Bee Gees from 40 years ago.
Mr Alan Leather, the lead singer of the band said, “The crowd was very cheerful and engaging, we had an excellent time performing tonight, not to mention the ambience here at the club is simply breathtaking too, loved it.”
“It was a wonderful night, amazing performance by the band, the crowd, and the crew are all simply amazing, nicely done,” stated Mr Roslan Wilkinson, Director of Homme Productions.
Without doubt there was a real Saturday Night Fever craze for one night only at the Royal Langkawi Yacht Club and it was an event which will be remembered for a long time on Langkawi island.
