Genting Dream, the luxury cruise ship of Genting Cruise Lines, has recently landed yet another accolade. It has been named Asia’s best Cruise Ship by South Korea’s Jeju Cruise Industry Association at the Asian Cruise Awards.
Raymond Lim, the senior vice-president for planning and port management and port operations at Genting Cruise Lines, received the award on behalf of Dream Cruises at a special ceremony held at the Jeju Landing Convention Centre on Aug 29.
Dream Cruises’ fleet comprising Genting Dream and World Dream now use Singapore and Guangzhou (Nansha) as their home ports. They serve a wide range of travellers – from the value-minded to extravagantly-inclined.
At the top end is The Palace, a luxurious “ship within a ship” enclave featuring more than 140 suites and private VIP facilities, including its own swimming pool, spa, gym and dining venues. The luxurious setting is also enhanced by the meticulous and personalised service of the renowned team of Dream Butlers who will see to every whim and fancy of the guests.
For the business traveller, the Dream Cruises’ MICE facilities can cater to conference, meeting and event needs from as small as eight participants to as many as 999 attendees.
The Genting Cruises fleet will be expanded further with the addition of its first “global class” ship in 2020.
The new vessel will be designed specifically for the rapidly growing Asian market. It will be the most technologically advanced ship, featuring artificial intelligence. It will also have a wide array of leisure, entertainment and dining experiences.
