Brew House, a family-friendly restaurant and watering hole rolled into one, has opened its first outlet outside the Klang Valley – at the Anson Cube on Anson Road, George Town, Penang.
Just like its eight outlets spread across Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya, the Penang addition is an ideal place for friends and family to dine together. It also serves well as the location where members of the local community can get together.
For the drinking crowd, there is a section where they can sit down over a beer as they unwind after a hard day at the office.
The Brew House menu offers a range of Pan-Asian and Western gastronomic delights, innovatively prepared to tickle every palate.
According to Felix Yang, the eatery’s director, the idea for a restaurant that “serves great and delicious food at affordable prices in a modern urban setting” was conceptualized in August 2017. Its first outlet was a small shoplot in SS2, Petaling Jaya.
“We have grown from just an idea for an eatery to a restaurant group with nine outlets in just over a year,” he says with pride. Yang says that if Brew House finds a big following in Penang, they plan to expand to Butterworth and even further north to Alor Star. In the pipeline are six more outlets that will open before Chinese New Year.
Yang says they have invested heavily in their kitchen to keep standards high but at affordable prices.
There is a non-smoking section for families and health-conscious patrons. Brew House has also partnered with premium brands such as Carlsberg Malaysia to offer a variety of quality beer, cider, stout and craft beer to a growing crowd to discerning drinker in Penang.
