A delightful range of colourful desserts along with snacks await those patronizing the G Lounge at the G Hotel Gurney.
The vibrant cupcakes come in a range of strawberry, vanilla, chocolate, banana, hazelnut, mocha, green tea, orange and blueberry flavours. They are priced at RM12 each.
Mini cupcakes are available decorated with cream and garnished with fresh ingredients. They are priced at RM12 for two mini cupcakes. The cupcakes are the creation of G Hotel pastry chef Khoo Kang Theng.
“The cupcakes are baked daily to keep the cupcakes fresh and soft for guests,” said Khoo adding that they also offer macarons which come in blueberry and apricot flavours.
The G Lounge has introduced a new range of snacks namely spinach dip, mushroom quiche, fish and chips, tuna brioche, french fries, crab cakes, sweet potato fries, chilli wedges, whitebait fish, charcoal burger and California roll.
To wash down your food the hotel offers mocktails with their in-house creation; Sri Pinang being their signature drink. It offers a blend of soursop, calamansi juice, longan topped up with ice-cream soda.
Also on offer are the Watermelon Pudina, g Sunset and Pink Perfection mocktails at the lounge.
“The G Lounge is a favourite meeting place for those waiting to check-in at our hotel. The comfortable sofa seats and cosy setting helps to make them feel at home,” said G Hotel’s Director of Communications Christina Tan.
Meanwhile, the G Art Gallery is showcasing the “Gems of Heirlooms” art exhibition by George R Tow who has displayed 16 pieces of his works in acrylic paint, gouache, oil pastels and Chinese ink on canvas.
Guests can also look forward to be entertained by the hotel’s resident two-piece band while enjoying their drinks and snacks.
