G Hotel’s “Love Atelier” bridal fair

It was a runaway success for the “Love Atelier” bridal fair held at the G Hotel here. A total of 51 couples signed up for their big day at the fair.

Their commitment to hold their weddings at the premier hotel brought in a total of RM1.8 million in sales for the hotel this year.

Earlier, a total of 12 booths offered professional wedding necessities, among them Kuang Yee Bridal Collection, OCCA Wedding & Event Designer, Mary Kay, AOKlinik, Hobby Art Photography, Sunlighten Empowering Wellness, Pixin Booth, AsiaEuro Wines & Spirit, Vimal Trading, Empire Signature, GMT Group SeaFarer and La Berry.

The highlight of the evening was the fashion show by Kuang Yee Bridal Collection which featured the latest and trendy designs of wedding gowns.

Lanky and graceful models showcased the collection for the bride and groom-to-be.

G Hotel general manager Michael Hanratty was on hand to greet and mingle with guests.

“We would also like to showcase that we can be dynamic, feminine,stylish and make the special event a memorable occasion for couples, family members and friends.

“The trend is changing not only for weddings but also for accommodation, food and the service sector,” said Hanratty, adding that a lot of thought, planning and research goes into making the occasion really special for guests.

Among the lucky couple who won the top prize was Regina Wu, 29 and William Moay, 35, who were very happy with their lucky win.

The winning couple receive their prizes from general manager Michael Hanratty.

Wu, an auditor by profession, said that she came to know of the event as she works nearby the hotel and saw some of the promotional materials on the bridal fair.

“I also did some comparisons with other hotels and found G Hotel setting and decoration to be top notch,” she added with her future husband beside her nodding in agreement.

They couple won for themselves a Burberry handbag, Nevermore Design cash voucher on interior design worth RM7,580 among others.

Another fortunate couple who received the second prize was Teoh Chea Ying, a 33-year-old engineer and her fiancee Yeap Sook Aik, 34.

“We are very happy that we chose G Hotel to be our  venue host for the wedding as the sales personnel are efficient and professional in getting back to me on my queries,” said Teoh.

They won a Jimmy Choo Romy 85 (Silver) heels and Nevermore Design cash voucher worth RM4,825.

The evening ended on a high note with a live performance of a six-piece band.
