Ipoh-born model Amy Nur Tinie Abdul Aziz, 22, will grace the catwalk when her hometown hosts its second international fashion extravaganza in November.
Amy, who is also a businesswoman, TV host and former beauty queen, will be among several models to showcase the latest fashion trends at the International Ipoh Fashion Week 2018, to be held at the Syeun Hotel from Nov 9 to 11.
Despite her young age, Amy – who began modelling at age four and took part in her first beauty contest at age 15 – already has a string of titles to her name.
She has been crowned Miss KBJ Ratu Kebaya in 2015, Miss KL Kebaya in 2016 and Miss Malaysia Kebaya 2016/2017. At the international level, she was second runner-up at the Miss Lumière International World 2017 competition held in Singapore. She will represent Malaysia at another beauty pageant in China in December.
Amy has also appeared in several TV commercials and shows such as TV3’s Nona. She now hosts Tumit Tinggi on TV1.
Apart from Malaysia, the International Ipoh Fashion Week will feature models and designers from China, Indonesia, India, Nepal, the Ukraine and Singapore.
