Charlie’s Bar & Grill

The famous Charlie’s Bar & Grill formerly known as Charlie’s Place, has now re-opened for business. It is open daily from 8 am to 11 pm as part of Langkawi Fisherman’s Wharf project.

The extensively refurbished restaurant still sits on the same location at the waterfront, now with even more dining space and state-of-the-art equipped kitchen.

Charlie’s Bar & Grill is now capable of hosting guests for a la carte dining as well as stylish cocktail parties, and can comfortably seat 120 guests and up to 500 guest for cocktail parties.

Guests can enjoy the relaxing sea breeze and unwind from their daily routine at this stunning location.

Charlie’s Bar & Grill was named after the founder of the Royal Langkawi Yacht Club, the late Tunku Tan Sri Abdullah who was also fondly known as “Charlie” among his friends.

Set in the restaurant’s background is the view of the Kuah Bass Harbour with the clear view of the infamous Pulau Dayang Bunting (Dayang Bunting Island) as well as the view onto the award winning Marina at the Royal Langkawi Yacht Club. Patrons at Charlie’s Bar & Grill can enjoy unparalleled and stunning sunset views while enjoying their favourite drinks and meals from the extensive new menu.

These include International signature dishes such as Braised Lamb Shank and Barbecued Spare Ribs with Baby Vegetables. You can also find local favourites like the Beef Rendang, Chicken Curry and Yacht Club Fried Rice.

The dramatic backdrop matches the relaxing and casual setup and is a plus point for private functions.
